What personal data we collect and why we collect it

While using our Service, we may ask you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify you. Personally identifiable information (“Personal Information”) may include, but is not limited to:

  • First Name
  • Last Name
  • Email address
  • Contact Telephone number
  • Contact Address
  • Next of kin (Name and contact number) in the case of an emergency.
  • Informed consent and liability waiver form (Stored securely offline). This is used to give consent to free willingly partaking in physical fitness training, and that the client understands both the risks, and benefits of physical exercise.
  • PAR-Q and Lifestyle forms (These are for Personal Training only and are stored securely offline). These forms are needed for the health assessment. The PAR-Q form is used to help assess your readiness to start physical exercise. It’s there to identify if there are any physical inabilities or medical conditions, that would require them to visit their GP to see if they are physically and medically able to begin physical exercise. The Lifestyle form is a general health questionnaire which is to gain an understanding of a clients daily and weekly routine, including what foods they eat and what beverages they drink, to be able to give nutritional guidance. Any health recordings and body measurements are only taken with explicit consent from the client, the client has a right to refuse.

We use contact forms on this website for anyone who wishes to get in contact with us via email, we have links on most pages to take you to our ‘Contact Us’ page. Our Contact Us form requires:

  • Last Name
  • Email Address
  • Message

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website. Please be aware of this if you would like to give a testimonial with a photo of yourself.

Testimonials

We like to have testimonials about our services. Testimonials are totally optional to the client, only with explicit consent given shall we use them. The client has the right to refuse giving a testimonial. If a client would like to give a testimonial, but without the use of their photo, then they have the right to do so. 

Log Data 

We collect information that your browser sends whenever you visit our Service (“Log Data”). This Log Data may include information such as your computer’s Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, browser type, browser version, the pages of our Service that you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages and other statistics.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

We use MailerLite and Mailchimp as our marketing automation platforms. When you submit a form, you acknowledge that the information you provide will be transferred to Mailchimp or MailerLite for processing in accordance with their Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. We use the service of PayPal to ensure the help with secure payments made to Home Tone Fitness. Security

The security of your Personal Information is very important to us, but remember that no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your Personal Information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security. We use a very reputable and reliable server which uses very strong security measures and practices. To help protect from a data breach we make sure we have an SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) on our website, to encrypt the link between a web server and a browser. This encrypted link ensures that all data passed between the web server and browsers remain private and integral. We also use Web Application Firewall (WAF) which is a filter that inspects incoming traffic for potential threats and detects malicious activity. We also run daily malware scans and perform daily site back ups. With all this in mind though, If you request that we send you any Personal Information via email, or you decide to send us any of your Personal Information via email, then you agree that it is at your own risk.

Our Service may contain links to other sites that are not operated by us. Such as (And Not Limited To) Paypal, Mailchimp, Mailerlite, social sites like Facebook (Including Facebook Like Box), Instagram, Twitter, You Tube and Google Plus If you click on a third party link, you will be directed to that third party’s site.
